YOUR TRIP OF
A LIFETIME

The fishing trips are available throughout the dry season, from the middle of January to September. However prime fishing is early February through May when the jungle experiences little or no rainfall. From May to September river conditions are less predictable.

The guides will host you throughout your trip making sure you stay safe, eat well and have a great time. All proceeds from Sungai Tiang fly fishing goes to support these fabulous folk and rainforest conservation.

You will need to bring your fishing gear and flies, (see the FAQs for details), but camping gear and food will be provided for you.

The price for the full package is $400 per day for the first adult, with an extra $200 for each additional adult.

ITINERARY

We would recommend a full week, but shorter trips are possible. The first and last days will be mostly travelling to and from the base camp. From there you will work your way up the river and stay at a new campsite each night.

Each day is planned to be a comfortable day of fishing. During the morning session you will fish your way up to the next camp, your gear will be carried for you.

After lunch you will fish the new site into the evening rise. The camp sites have been chosen for their evening fishing qualities.

There are six camps in total, and the further you go upriver the better the fishing becomes. When needed, and particularly on the way back, the Orang Asli will rustle up some bamboo rafts to speed your journey along.
